50 years by God’s grace!
50 years! Prince of Peace Lutheran Church celebrates her 50th anniversary as a congregation. On April 24th, at 4pm, We will have a special Sunday Service to commemorate this occasion (there will be no morning service this day). Our guest preacher will be former Pastor, Rev. Kirk Peters and our Guest organist will be Kantor Steven Hoffman. It will be a blessed day accentuated by special music from choir and instrumentalists as we gather together to receive God’s gifts of Word and Sacrament! Who Cares about Holy Week?
Who cares about Holy Week? God cares! He cares so much “that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17) He cares so much that when Jesus prayed in the Garden Gethsemane, “That if there was another way then let him choose that way, but he also said not my will, but yours be done.
